Building a lasting relationship with another person does not require effort. When you do things sincerely you will act naturally. There is nothing for you to hide from the other person. When you have ulterior motives your actions will not be genuine and it will show sooner or later. Here are the secrets to make you likable:

  1. Be trusted: Do it on the day and at the time as promised. Allow others to build the trust in you especially for the first time. First impression is vitally important.

  1. Be Sensitive: Be alert and always ready to take action on opportunities to do things for others. People will be pleased and surprised to notice your responsiveness.

  1. Be courteous: Courtesy is a way of life. When you are polite it means you respect others.

  1. Be humble: Don’t be boastful and try to show other that you are better. Just remember that in life there are always people out there better than you are.

  1. Be friendly: There is no other way to be a friend but be a friend.

  1. Be sincere: Sincerity is honesty and honesty is the best policy. You don’t want to be acquainted with someone that you are doubtful about

  1. Be empathetic Be considerate of other people in whatever you do. Your actions will be supported and respected by others

  1. Send a gift: When you visit someone take a gift with you. It will be a delightful surprise for the person that you are visiting.

  1. Be kind: When you do good to others, they will return to you more of the same gesture. Most people are just as kind.

  1. Be caring; Find out more about the family of the other person that you are talking to. Check out their interests and get to know more of their background.

  1. Be appreciative: Always remember the kind deeds that others have done for you. Express your appreciation as soon as possible.
